Developed as a combat and general-purpose weapon for ground forces, the versatile knife was designed for the US Marine Corps in the early 1950s. Although it was never officially introduced, it clearly demonstrated its capabilities in the Vietnam War - most notably in the hands of US Special Forces. Nearly 70 years after its first design, Pohl Force's modern interpretation of this classic represents the perfect combination of classic old-school design with modern high-tech manufacturing.
Designer Dietmar Pohl revised the Quebec One design and expanded the knife's functional range. The blade of the new Quebec Two is now made of D2 steel instead of Sleipner, which carries higher levels of carbon and chromium content and thus significantly improves the resistance to cutting and corrosion. In addition, Dietmar Pohl has optimized the blade of the classic again. The new version now has a 10 mm. longer cutting edge and a secondary edge on the "spine".
In addition, the Pohl Force Prepper system is integrated into the handle of the Quebec Two for secure storage of survival items in the handle. A tool is included for opening the screws on the handle. The sheath made of 2.5 mm thick Kydex®. with belt adapter and leg strap allows for high wearing comfort. To secure it to the hand, the Quebec Two is equipped with a lanyard.
