The inspiration for such a combat tool is not foreign to Pohl – he draws ideas from the armament of the British commandos of World War II. During his career, he worked with some of the most renowned experts in armed close combat, including Colonel Rex Applegate – a legendary name in direct confrontation tactics.
With the MK-11, Pohl Force revives the philosophy of these early combat weapons and adapts it to the 21st century through modern materials and advanced manufacturing processes. The 26.3 cm long blade, made of 6 mm thick D2 steel (59-60 HRC Rockwell), provides exceptional durability and high cutting efficiency. The black PVD coating further protects against corrosion and glare.
The handle is precision-crafted from G-10, inspired by the MK-9 design, but with improved ergonomics and without an additional guard. At its end is a CNC-machined striking element - the same one used on the MK-8 and MK-9.
For optimal field carrying, the MK-11 comes with a high-quality Kydex® sheath (2.5 mm) and double leg straps for secure fixation to the thigh. In addition, the knife is equipped with a rope strap that provides stability when gripping.
The Final Edition is limited to 100 pieces, with each piece arriving with a specially designed Final Edition braided patch – a sign of the exclusivity and collector's value of this combat masterpiece.
