The SRS A2 Covert 16'' airsoft replica is the licensed version of the Desert Tech Scout Recon Stealth A2. The SRS receiver is made of aerospace aluminum and includes Desert Tech's new patented barrel mount, which evenly attaches to the barrel and reduces stress points. The SRS-A2 receivers are quite lightweight, which also reduces the mass of the replica itself. The aeronautical aluminum handle uses an MLOK attachment system and includes 2 QD points. The SRS A2 receiver has a tripod attachment point and is separately suitable for use with a Desert Tech monopod. The upper rail is detachable, which allows the use of many additional alternatives, including M2 type rails. The cylinder is made of stainless steel (diameter 23.8 mm), and the bolt handle is made of steel. The piston is made of steel, and the aluminum trigger is adjustable when reloading. The piston height can be adjusted by moving the trigger forward or backward.
The outer barrel is deeply grooved and threaded (M14x1 CCW thread). It is equipped with a .308 QD muzzle brake.
The two-way hop-up chamber is directly attached to the quick-change barrel module. Hop-up adjustment is done with two screws on top of the replica, through the receiver, with the tool included without removing the barrel.
